Clint Satterfield from Trousdale County

i think he is the best small school coach....its state championship or nothing with him.......he sets the bar high.....and coaches like every game is a playoff game...

Coach Adkins is to be considered as one of the best small town coaches he is leading a K-12 school (Jo Byrns) to a 5-0 record and putting them number 4 in the mid-state right now.

I haven`t seen his named mentioned and he is retired, but there was once a coach at Milan named John Tucker who was pretty good.

Coach Walt Smith of Mt.Pleasant is the best

 

Agree there 325. He hasn't established hisself over many years like some of the nominees but we think alot of him and his staff. I believe a couple of more years will tell the tale of his coaching abilities.

All these great coaches have been listed, but can anybody put stats like winning percentages, number of games coached, years as head coach, and championships won up there with their favorite coaches? Of course,Clint Satterfield of Trousdale County will be in the tops of the list. I'd like to see other coaches stats.

David Barger has done an incredible job since coming to lake county.he has really turned the program around.

 

Tim Stallings did a great job the years he was a Lake Co. also.And hes not doing too bad of a job at much larger Brighton,where he plays some really stiff competition.

 

I have to agree with the others who were giving props to Rod Sturdivant.He is a great coach,one of the best ever in TN high school football.Keeping it in the family,Cliff Sturdivant wqasnt too shabby his years at Lake County either.
