LEONARDSLOSERS- The Knights of Pope John Paul II must take the the long trip to Knoxville to meet with the Spartans of Webb. Both teams come into Fridays matchup 2-0, with wins against great teams. The Knights have knocked off two big names in High School football Greenbrier, and Father Ryan. While Webb knocked off two teams the best region in Tennessee, Knox West, and Knox Powell. This will be a great matchup, and a great team is gonna go down Friday. If this game were being played in Hendersonville it would be the opposite call, but its not. The Webb School by 1.

LEONARDSLOSERS-The Bradley Central Bears will travel to the Atomic city to take on the always tough Oak Ridge Wildcats. The ship will be full and not a very friendly environment. The Bears are coming off two road trip losses, and this one might get real ugly. A struggling team with three road trips to start the season is not a good thing. Just hope they can hang on. After the Wildcats hung 74 points on Clinton last week, depth should get even more game experience this week against the Bears. The Wildcats are Radioactive. Opponents better stay clear of the ship. Oak Ridge by 35.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Hixon Wildcats will host the Rhea Co. Golden Eagles. The Wildcats are 1-1 with a win over Ringgold GA, but a loss to lower classification Notre Dame. Although the Golden Eagles are 0-1 the loss comes at the hands of a very good Ooltewah team. Should be a very close game. Rhea Co. by 6.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Hillwood Hilltoppers are hosting the Gallatin Green Wave. Both teams come into week 2 with opening game wins. This game will match up to two normally good teams with great tradition. The Green Wave beat Lebanon in a close rival game 14-7, while the Hilltoppers won to fairly new team. Just hard one to call. Gallatin Green Wave by 10.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Brainerd Panthers will host the Cleveland Blue Raiders in Chattanooga. The Panthers better be on their toes this week. With a loss to the Hustlin Tigers of Howard, the Panthers don't show much of the experience this group of seniors have gotten over the years. A second home loss will keep the stands empty. The Blue Raiders took on the not so hot Bears from Bradley Central and did not put out the performance they should have. This week they will. Cleveland Blue Raiders by 32.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Jellico Blue Devils will play take on the Bulldogs from Hampton. The Bulldogs will leave the beautiful Doe River area and take the 3 hour drive from Carter County to the Coal and Rocky area of the Jellico Mountains. Should be a cut and dry call, but the Bulldogs must travel to Jellico where things don't seem to ever go your way. Hampton by 12.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Wildcats of Sweetwater will host the Redskins of Loudon. A huge region matchup that will set the battle up for playoff spots. Both teams are looking to keep the win column full, and the loss column empty. The Redskins put up 50 points last week on Greenback, while the wildcats are averaging 28 points. Don't think that the Wildcats can stop the running Redskins. Loudon by 12.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The First Assembly Christian Crusaders will leave Cordova and take on St. Andrews Mountain Lions at Sewanee. The Crusaders won big last week against a non-TSSAA school from Arlington, while the Mountain Lions took down Zion Academy coming away with a 21-9 win. This battle of two small schools will a low scoring region game. Each team could use an early region win in this strong region. St. Andrews by 6.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The South-Doyle Cherokees will leave South Knoxville for a region matchup with Knoxville West Rebels. The Cherokees moving down from 5A to 4A just so happened to get put in the toughest region in Tennessee. They have struggled for several years now, but have managed to get some great coaching on board. Turnovers seem to keep biting them. Still a couple of years from success, but talent is around. While West is a team looking for its leaders managed to bounce back last week after a loss to a Div II Knoxville Webb. The Rebles seem to always be in the mix. Knoxville West by 8.

I have to take a break every now and then. Lunch was calling my name.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Oliver Springs Bobcats will host the Highlanders of Scott Co. The Bobcats traveled to the Smokey Mountains last week and beat up on the another Highlander team. Although it was a close one, it is hard to go to Gatlinburg and come away with a win. While at the same time the Highlanders of Scott Co. were also playing a close game with Gibbs, and came away with a home victory. Should be a good game. The Bobcats will have a hard time stopping the speed. Scott Co. by 8.

LEONARDSLOSERS- The Mountaineers of Heritage will have to come down out of the Mountains for the to take on the Farragut Admirals. The Mountaineers are on a winning streak, and hope to continue it in region play. While the Amirals lost a tough one against a 4A Knox Central team. The Admirals have a strong defense and should stop the Mountaineers in their tracks. Lord know they have bragged about how good that defense is all year. The running attack has been a big plus this year for the Mountaineers. Just think the Admirals Defense is much better. Farragut by 14.
