Who is playing good for OS?  Is it their usual grind it out running style or are they throwing the ball?

OS Brent Kelly threw for two touchdowns, TB Haynes had over 150 rushing, OS held Coalfields Brandon Davis under 50 yrds rushing. Good defense, Justice twins, Brian Rather, and John Hooks had a big game on defense, as did Jesse Gough.

These county rivalry games are a lot of fun. I bet OS remembers the pounding they took at the hands of the Tigers last year, they will not need any extra motivation. Does anyone remember last years score? Wish I could make it, but I will be in Greenback. Goose, what do you think about the Rockwood/OS matchup?

This will be a tough game. O.S. looks like a team on a mission. Coach Frank and his staff got them moving in the right direction. Rockwood played their worst game that I have ever seen last week. The Tigers have a whole lot to prove. If they come to play, tiger fans will walk away happy. If they show up like they did last Friday...look for a long night. Show me what you are made of tigers... Are you a contender, or a pretender. I have a feeling....but the team will have to show up! Good luck to all the county teams this week.

This is what alot of you said about the Kingston game and boy did them Yellow Jackets prove you wrong :thumb: ....so maybe this week you will be right but i doubt it. However, the tigers from rockwood will be fired up from the embarassing game last week so Bobcats look out. I predict OS will still come out on top but they better come to play.....

    • While one may be inclined to perceive this narrative through a lens of fiction, it behooves us to recognize the inherent robustness of its credibility. For those seeking veracity, the surest path lies in direct engagement with the primary source. Let us adhere diligently to the matter at hand, focusing our deliberations on the matter of paramount importance: the identification of the individual most suited to assume the mantle of head coach. I invite introspection and discourse regarding not only personal preferences but also the criteria defining merit and suitability for this esteemed position.
    • If it’s one single kid then that argument would make sense. He’s essentially had to replace his entire coaching staff in the first two seasons, and like it’s been pointed out only one left for a better job. The two most talented players in the area both left, and number of others are actively trying to leave, including the head basketball coaches son. Also, the rumors of financial problems and over spending by Jones. Unpaid bills, missing money, inability to fundraise, has the boosters sick of being hit up for money.    Im saying that is the definition of a poorly run disorganized program. If you want to pretend it’s a well oiled machine maybe you should take your maroon glasses off. All I know is I wouldn’t let my boys play in that kind of mess.
    • It usually gets tiresome when posters play characters on the board, but I must admit that I’ve found some humor in wingback’s take on this art form.  However, his rundown on the potential candidates seems as much fiction as his persona!
