Hey this could really be one of the best bradley teams in the past 4 years

Theyve won like 5 games the past 3 seasons

All they need to do is win one more to be above average for bradley

Hahahaha

Eventhough Ooltewah lost to Blount Ooltewah and Oak Ridge are the best teams in the region

Ooltewah had some key players out with injuries and had a few get injured during the game

Ooltewah needs to prove themselves the next five weeks new leaders need to rise up and take charge and most of all the fans want some hard hitting from here on out from kickoff to the last tick. I would like to challenge the DL with at least 2 sacks per game and a minimum of 2 pass deflections. The Offensive line the challenge for you is put your opposition on his back on the first play from scrimmage to set the tone early and never let up drive him 10 yards down field on every run play. I would like to see a little toughness on some and most of all get in the weight room and bust your tails and last but not least practice like champions and the real thing will follow in stride. Go Owls!

Blount lost their all state center 3 days before gameday and had a guy replace him that had never played center before. On the last drive WB had a 3rd and 12 that Osborne, Walker, and Wendel all werent on the field. Blount still hasnt played their best football yet and sure didnt play that well against ooltewah.

Ooltewah has great upside to them i think they will be contenders when Marshall is a senior. Ooltewah 42 Bradley 0

We lost our All State DE in the Cookeville game he was replaced by a SO DE which his he is doing a good job thus far that was a huge loss for the Owls and Abraham is a great young man also.

there is suppose to be a new high school in collegdale ( sorry newballer) and as far as the game goes. if this years team is the same as 2003 (when bradley beat Ooletwah at the nest) then maybe it will be a good game who knows.

well show me the facts on this new high school then, and if there is a new one built it wont be in collegedale, there is just no where to put it there, it could be near collegedale but not in collegedale, you dont realize how small actual collegedale is...and they've said that for the past 5 years, but oh look theres still just ooltewah out here, and have you taken a look at hamilton county's budget problems the last few years..there is absolutely NO way they could build another high school at this point in time with the money they have....and i mean seriously, can you come up with somethin better to talk about in this game then your rumors of ooltewah getting a new high school, that wont affect ooltewah as much as you think anyway, what hurts ooltewah is all the kids going to private schools...but if you dont want to talk about the game since you knwo the outcome, lets talk about something else, like who's going to win homecoming queen or something..

There has been money set aside from the new property tax increase for Hamilton county the county will build two new schools one which will be on I believe signal Mountain and the other will be East Brainerd Rd. / Ooltewah Ringgold Rd but this should not come to light for a few years and then a couple more before they finish the New High School. The county superintendent has retired and there will be a new one elected so this may be scratched because the county needs to invest their money more wisely than from the past. east Brainerd is not Ooltewah BradleyCub2004 but we do share athletes with Tyner from this area. back in the day I was one of them. Now a lot of McCallie, and Boyd Buchanan and student athletes come from the area also so the fact is it just will not effect Ooltewah. the perk for Ooltewah it is the fast growing area in the City so do not get your hopes up because athletes will attend a winning program.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
