cornpone
WAKE UP its the Smith Boy from Scott he has over a thousand yards. I think he has 1100 and just had 326 yards rushing against Fulton. They can say all they want he had 300 of them on there first team. I looke for him to break 2000. hey old highlander, i've not seen the smith kid play yet so tell me is he better than eric pemberton?
go blue
I think his name is Harrison Smith. He is one good football player!! Without him, Knox Catholic would not be near where they are. He's good on defense as well. Without a doubt, he would have 4000 yards if they counted every yard he ran sideways and backwards to go forwards. He scored on 4 of 8 touches against DeKalb, and he selflessly stood back and watched the freshman Payne brothers run after that instead of begging to run his yards up, and oh boy, if it was about statistics, he could have had 500 yards that night. OOPS. I was talking about Ladd from WH.

crockettfan
Crockett County has a three-headed attack (actually four if you include senior fullback Jay Beaird) that splits carries, so individual numbers are not overwhelming, but if any of these guys were a "featured back" they would be in this discussion. And, these stats are for only 7 and a half games, as the Milan game was never completed. Through week 8, the Cavaliers have : Jarvis Perry- 775 yards, 6.0 avg, 12 TDs Shaun Johnson- 631 yards, 10.5 avg, 5 TDs Ron Johnson- 492 yards, 8.2 avg, 7 TD's Roll 'em all together, you have 1898 yards, 24 TDs, 7.7 yds per carry Edited October 19, 2005 by crockettfan

The Tennessean only has Ladd with 1,008 yards rushing. If you say 1,061 and you attend WH games then I'll go with your stats. That newspaper is usually off on stats anyway
bdpweb
The Tennessean only has Ladd with 1,008 yards rushing. If you say 1,061 and you attend WH games then I'll go with your stats. That newspaper is usually off on stats anyway These are Ricky's official stats: Ricky has 143 carries for 1,009 yards, averaging 7.1 yards per rush and has scored 16 touchdowns. He has six receptions for 57 yards, five kick returns for 119 yards, and three punt returns for 33 yards. The reason the 1061 number is there is because that is how many yards Ricky has gained, not counting losses. On our official stat sheet, there is a GAIN and a NET listed. His gain is 1061, but he has lost 52 yards also, leaving him with a NET of 1009. Hope that helps. Kris
M_Gregory_78
Odd that you all dont have wesley smith from scott, the east Tn leading rusher on the list. Has over 1400 yards and 200+ receiving yards, and still has 2 games left!
