East Robertson Indians Beat Goodpasture!

East wins an all time classic game, 49-46. Great game by all the guys. Tico Andrews was awesome both throwing and running; Carlos Hudson's kickoff return for a touchdown right after Goodpasture had scored on a punt return was probably the key to the game; Tyler Fosnes caught for over 140 yards and a huge third down conversion to set up the winning touchdown. Chase Cervantes, Labronce Dowlen, Desmond Payne . . . a long list of great plays. And especially, the defense . . . they held a tough Goodpasture team when they had to. What a great game all around. After last's weeks disappointment in the overtime loss to Jo Byrns - - this felt so good!! Congratulations East.

Goodpasture is 3-3 its the worst team theyve had in quite some time.

 

Also i bet they lose to Ezell, CPA, and DCA. They will finish 4-6 this yr. And then I'll say it again.

Yes they are 3-3 but lets look at those losses. They lost to a very good Pope John Paul II team 52-55 in OT. They lost to what I consider the best team in 3A Lipscomb 24-7, with their back-up QB in. The lost to a very underrated East Robertson team. All three losses they have been in the game the entire time. So you say this is the worst team they have had in quite some time. Last season they lost four games, the year before they lost 3 games. They can run the table, but they probably won't, you don't realize this region 5 is probably the best from top to bottom in 2a, that is something everyone in this region is getting adjusted too.

Talent wise they are not bad. But the slip that started in 2002 continues. The offseason will be very interesting.
