aliastn
As a former high school and college band member, and a former color guard instructor, I agree that the band was outstanding, as they were last year, too. I have to agree with tornadogold about the last part of the show, though. The electric guitar was a bit much. I almost had to cover my ears. Maybe the volume wasn't right that night or something, but it really took away from the show. Hope they correct it before competition or else they're going to get KILLED by the judges. Otherwise, it was an excellent show! I didn't watch the flags too much, but it did look like they had some things to correct. Congratulations, Rockwood band! mcwrestler
I missed the Toto reference but I did enjoy their band, I believe most people did. They had a large band, and I don't mean to take away from that.

Not the 1st time Rockwood cheerleaders have misspelled something... I remember a few years ago that they were playing Wartburg and had a "Beat The Buldogs" banner. I said some to the cheerleaders to the effect of how dumb can people from Rockwood be if they can't spell "BULLDOGS" (Yeah, I can be just as bad in real life as I am on here, hahaha.). But looking back I guess they didn't know better because they probably had monkeyboy spreading her infinite wisdom on how to spell back in elementary school. XtremeLoco
Well i graduated from Rockwood 3 years ago..and you wanna say that people from Rockwood are dumb? In a matter of 6 months i learned to speak Portuguese. Yep i can read, write and speak perfectly. Im working on Spanish know, don't think this one will take me 6 months. Cale sua boca, teu filho da mae. This coming from one of those people from Rockwood you think are so dumb. alcoafan72
"Biased shovel a pop gun"??? Not sure what you mean, but if you think I am a critic, that would be yes. I talk about football, not the kids and never take anything personnel, it is about the game. Great Win for your team by the way. Not talk about the kids? That's just about all you did last year (that's what got my goat and raised my ire with your posts) you just ran BW into the ground and you still give him very little cedit without your commonplace digs eventhough he's doing very well at FSU. What is your problem? Edited October 10, 2006 by alcoafan72
camet
"Would've made more sense if they had only been playing Toto music. I was never asked about 80s music in my undergrad or grad programs. And, if you have to explain it, well, that should tell you something. After all, that music was popular before those kids were even born. I still say it was a really good show until the very end...they need to cut the very last part of the show out. It really hurt my ears." Tornadogold Using your own criteria...it was all TOTO music. Program was Hold the Line (TOTO) I'll Be Over You (TOTO), Africa (TOTO), and Rosanna (TOTO). I will agree that the guitar was too loud. It has not always been that way.
