Wiht possibly a 4 way tie for first place who should play who in the first round of the play offs in 2 weeks. This may take a NASA computer to figure out. Does anyone have an idea?

I am not sure of the exact rules. My guess is they would go by points allowed and or scored or something of that nature with relation to the league games. But then again I could be completely wrong. I would also like to know the answer to this question you pose.

It's all spelled out very clearly in the TSSAA rules. First tie breaker is if one team has beaten all the others tied with it. Then it goes to best overall record. If there are ties within those tiebreakers...see rule #1.

 

Essentially, if all goes according to form next week (which is speculative at best) then CBHS will be #1, MUS #2, MBA #3, McCallie #4, BA #5, Baylor #6.

Having said all that, there are real and meaningful games to be played next week, and with the balance in the league this year, there are very few "gimmees". It is certainly possible for BA to beat CBHS, Baylor to beat MBA, and yes, even for a deparate Briarcrest to beat MUS.

I'm pretty sure you can take MBA and McCallie out of contention for the 1 seed due to out of conference losses. That leaves MUS and CBHS as the only 1 loss teams. As long as they both win out, CBHS should get the 1 seed based on head to head play. MUS would be 2, MBA 3, and McCallie 4. Just a guess though.

They could, but do not look for this to happen. I have seen FRHS on several occasions...nothing to be impressed about. I think FRHS should consider a move to another classification for the sake of football. I kow ryan is very competitive in most sports, I just do not think that is fair to their football players to be subjected to defeat in the leauge almost every week.

BUT... if baylor loses to mba and cbhs loses to BA, that puts MBA at #2 and MUS at #1... the same goes for MUS, but I think the most likely change in position could occur there, but for that to happen it would have to be both an MBA win and a CBHS loss.

Ryan certainly deserves to stay in AAA. Granted the last few years have been down but they have an excellent football tradition and are much improved this year. Look for better things to come.

Yeah, and a Baylor's football team might win three DII games next year - possible but improbable.
