Region 2 Sweep In 5a

How many of you--like me--feel that there is a real strong possibility that all four Region 1 Teams will lose in Week 1 of the playoffs to their Region 2 opponents?

 

I just won't be surprised at all to see Oak Ridge, Farragut, William Blount, and Ooltewah advance to Week 2.

I think it's definately possible. In fact, I think it's likely....but none of the games are a sure lock...especially the Blount and Ooltewah games. But let's hope so!!! Go Owls!

There's no negativity implied. I'm simply saying no sweep. Sevier County will beat WB, and the DB/Ooltewah game is a toss-up.

You're wrong about the Sevier County game. Blount will overpower the Bears this time around. Too many weapons and too much strength. The Govs lost four games in the regular season ... three (Maryville, Farragut, OR) ... I'd have to say we'd still be definite underdogs against ... one (Sevier County) we were upset. I don't think lightening will strike twice in one year.

 

I believe Blount will win by two touchdowns.

I'm a WB fan who's watched both teams play. Anybody who has ... would have to make Blount a favorite in this game. Too many weapons. I do congratulate Sevier on a great season ... they've exceeded expectations. But they're in for a reality check this week. You're right Rock, we'll disagree. I'll talk to you on Saturday.
