Gtowner
This is a rivalry that goes back a long time. There was a time when it seemed like these two teams would meet up every year in the playoffs. DC returns to Gallatin Friday night for the First round of the state playoffs and rekindles this age old rivalry. Dickson Co. comes into this game with a 4-6 overall record for the regular season, but don't let that fool you. They play in a region with some of the toughest teams in the state in Ravenwood, Brentwood, and Franklin. DC has been good on defense all season long allowing the second fewest points in their region. The offense, on the other hand, seems to come and go. Gallatin brings a 8-2 overall record and a region 5-5A championship to the table. They have been striken with turnovers this season, up until the past 3 weeks. The Wave D has been supurb all season long, and as of late, the offense gives so many different looks it will make your head spin. In the last 2 games, Gallatin has only thrown the ball 7 times with 4 completions, but 3 of those were TDs. What are your thoughts and opinions for this game. I'd love to hear from some Dickson Co. fans as well.
Verb58
I know we are going to have our hands full after an emotional win last night. We must now put all focus on good DC team. If I'm not mistaking this is first time since 98 that we have plaed them of course I could be wrong maybe it's because that was Roberts first playoff game as Gallatin's head coach and we all remember the officiating in that game. ambiguousrock
This is the classic Dickson County team: Run Run Run, and good defense. However, I think Gallatin's QB draw will be a bit too much for the Cougars.

gwave2001
I agree with muffin...Gallatin by a couple of touchdowns. This is may be a classic battle by name, but I don't think it will be on the field. I think DC is one of those teams that isn't horrible by any means. They always have good talent year in and year out. But Gallatin just controls the clock all game with the run and takes this one fairly easy. Verb58
I'm starting to get nervous...the last time we were supposed to win a game after coming off of an emotional win.... we got beat by Overton. I really hope we stay focused on the prize ahead by going one game at a time....YAKKUM
redbaron515
You know Cougars cant swim against a wave....they drown. ( I know, that was cheesy....)
SuperBowlDream
Gallatin can just drop by and get this job done. They're just too strong and powerful to lose this one.
