Please forgive the dumb question, but I notice three Robinson kids playing big roles for the Pirates. QB Cody, running back Robert and WR Antonio. Are they brothers, cousins -- what?

I do not know if Robert and Antonio are cousins or not. Tyrone who is the 2nd string quarterback and Antonio are 1st cousins. Cody and Chase Robinson are brothers Chase plays tightend. Cody and Chase are not related to Robert,Antonio or Tyrone.

The QB is a white kid. The other Robinson's are I think kinfolk but are colored people. They have about 4 or 5 on the team. They are good kids, all of them.

There are actually 6 Robinsons.

Jordan (sr.), Antonio (sr.), Robert (So.), Cody (so.), Chase (fr.) and Tyrone (fr.).

Tyrone and Antonio are 1st cousins. Cody and Chase are brothers. I don't know if Robert and Jordan are kin to any of the others or not. All 6 of them contribute in some form or another on offense and/or defense.

No, they aren't brothers but they all have the same sister.

They are brothers from another mother.

Watertown has improved greatly since senior TB Josh Vantrease returned to the lineup in week 5 or 6. He has rushed for nearly 600 yards, including a 230-plus effort and 3 TD's last week at Monterey. QB Patrick Strunk is tall and lanky, good arm and capable of making plays with his feet. Watertown's strength is a veteran offensive line. D-lineman Michael League is a good one.

Does anyone have accurate stats on South Pittsburg?

Stats. No. I do know they are very well coached. They have great athletes every year and know how to use them. IMO S.P. wins easily. Good luck S.P from your old rivals at Boyd. Just get to Trousdale and ware them out!

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
