Jawaan McCullough/ Wesley Hale... 8 yrds/carry and a combined 6 TDs

Ryan Tallent.... 90 on 25 carries... and reinjures hammy

Tank Baker.... 25 on 15 carries... our linebackers are huge

Tyler Maples... avg. 7.3 yrds on returns and one fumble

derek Hunt/whoever #10 is?... 10completions on 37 attempts and 4 ints.

bad teams yes but hey congratulations on beating an 0-10 team and a 1-9 team and two 2-8 teams...thats all that needs to be said about that...nobody has answered about that Ewing kid...like i said earlier great back it would be a shame to not see him in the SEC as a fullback or maybe a linebacker...i remember him when i was a sophomore in '03 how much stronger and faster has he gotten

I'd just like to go ahead and point out a couple of reasons why maryville's schedule was SOOO tough...

 

1) alcoa - good win over a quality team. a quality team that is 2A and has to pick from what's left over in blount co. after the maryville allstars

 

2)clinton - a class act. 1-9. way to go rebs!

 

3)heritage - bottom of the barrel 5A team. 4-6.

 

4)powell - decent team at 6-4 on the season. loss to a dII webb and panics in the playoffs putting allstar tight end #6 at qb.

 

5)william blount - 6-4. decent season with 2 losses to seveir co. on the season.

 

6)central - put maryville's jerseys on clinton and clinton wins. these guys are just plain scared of maryville.

 

7)west - 4-6 on the season. mowest and maryville both put 41 on these guys. yes mowest pulled off an OT victory, but a win is a win.

 

8)south doyle - defeated the mighty clinton in one of 2 victories this season. roll on rebs!

 

9)halls - decent at 7-3 on the season but playing teams like gibbs, clinton, south doyle, etc.. and also score only 17 on west..

 

10)lenoir city - great group of atheletes. wins over foes such as clinton, south doyle, and campbell co.

congratulations on this tough, tough schedule. apparently speed and athleticism exist only in the knoxville region. i hope the boys from mowest don't hear about how fast and athletic you guys are. they might just forfeit.
