It is simple people from what I've heard and saw JCS would have whipped JBS, and you see wat the Tornadoes did to JCS. If you dont get wat im saying go look at the UC and JCS topic, notice how bad JCS is crying. That will be JBS after Friday night.

U CAN PRETTY MUCH BET ON THAT!

JCS doesn't matter they are at home right now. Everyone gets upset after they lose and end their season. JCS would not have whipped Jo Byrns and neither will UC. What you can bet on is a good close game and a JB victory. If you don't beleive it, come on down to Cedar Hill and watch the game and then you can bring the towels to wipe the tears from your boys faces after we win.

First off, to see a player posting on a message board before a big game to me exposes them to nothing but failure. Fans from most schools get on here and rant and rave about everything under the sun and when a player breaks down and post, to me, it sends the message that their attention is else where. I'm from the Union City area however I now live in middle Tennessee. I have had the chance to see both teams play and will say that I assume that this game will be somewhat close and hard fought. However, year in and year out Union City has been battle tested in what was one of the toughest regions in all of football. Although they met hard times it has made them a better team and the approach they took to keep alot of the bigger schools on their schedule is one of the main reasons why they are playing now. In no way am I saying that the player posting is not focused on the game, but to participate in this is, in no way, contributional. Practice hard, watch film, eat, sleep, and strap up on Friday night, because time wasted on the computer is not helping anybody, especially against Union City. With that being said, I feel that Union City will pull away midway through the third and win 38-21. Good luck to all and I'll say now that Trousdale's stroll in the park just may have a few kinks when it comes to Union City. Oh, and does the JB area have plumbing? :thumb: just kidding

Yeah, We'll flush you down when you get there. Just kidding.

I was at the JCS-UC game. I'm not going to mince words, UC is good. Good enough to beat the Eagles which is good enough to beat Jo Byrns. If UC doesn't let up it might look awful one sided. UC's defense was enough to shut down the Eagles potent offense for an entire half. I'm going with UC 34 to Jo Byrns 14

I hope they let up on Jo Byrns.

YEA. The UC defense is pretty dawg on good. Them boys whipped JCS physically alnight long, and i dont see anything different happening in the JBS game.

JBS has had a good season but it is now time for that to come to an end whenever UC steps down in Cedar Hill. And UC wont take it easy on these guys because they kno any given thing could happen on any given night, but one thing that wont happen is JBS beatin UC. LOL!

U CAN PRETTY MUCH BET ON THAT!

Jo Byrns beat East Robertson 29-28, East beat DCA 21-7, DCA beat JCS 28-27.

That would tell me that Jo Byrns is at least 2 TD's better then JCS. You cant just look at scores, but i dont see how u can honestly say that JCS would whip JBS. I got news for u, that wouldnt happen.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
