I will make some ovservations and hopefully someone that was there can verify what I see... 125 - Rains looks like he will score us some points against a lot of teams... 133 - Was hoping for more out of Keller but Mack Reiter is a serious threat for a NCAA title. I would assume with a 8-0 score that Reiter picked up nearfall more than likely off that devastating cradle. It might not look this bad later in the year if Keller can adjust to that if that was the case. 141- M. Keefe still looking strong based on the results 149 - D. Schlatter must be just about what everyone was expecting him to be, I would love to hear thoughts on how he looked in this match 157 - Jake Yost just hung with one of the top wrestlers in the nation. Was it a close 3-2 or more of one of the type where C.P. controlled and was never really in danger? Either way I would say good match for Jake even though I am sure he thinks he should have won it. 165 & 184 - Nagel and Kish both seem to be shaping up to be tough to beat this year again... 285 - Konrad is looking great after the win over Mocco and probably better not to send anyone out there until Silva is back in action... Now anyone else have thoughts? Edited November 27, 2005 by WrestleSBA

cbg
Has Keller certified at 125# or is that the preseason rankings. From the results of last weekend he may need to make the cut to 125# if he wants to AA.
texas23
if you look at the date on Sommers post, the information is from aug/sep. It may be a little dated already, in regards to weight and even wrestle offs/redshirts.

From the results of last weekend he may need to make the cut to 125# if he wants to AA. He did face the 3rd and 9th ranked guys, but it appears cbg has a very good point about All American status at 133.
