For those interested in this weekend's tournament-

Friday- Weigh-ins begin at 1PM and wrestling will start at 3PM. The tournament will start with the round of 32 and run through the quarters with a few rounds of consolation.

Saturday- Weigh-ins at 8AM and wrestling will begin at 10 AM with the semifinals and consolation and run throught he consolation semifinals. Finals will begin no earlier than 3:30, wrestling all medal matches 1-8.

Do you have any idea how late we will be wrestling Friday night? I know you can't say exactly, but based on years past what is your best guess?

The estimated end time is 9:15pm Friday. Last year we were out at 8:30, but we have more teams this year.

thanks coach, what about extra weight allowance if you have a match on Thursday night?

The tournament is down to 22 teams. Mem Catholic and MSB pulled out. As far as weight is concerned, I don't know. If there was it would be on the information sheets sent out to the coaches. That is not my area of expertise with this tournament.
