Best State Finals Matches

Not usually is there a bad or out of proportion state finals match, although there are some, but just wondering who you guys would like to see wrestle that last match once more and which wrestlers would be considered to have taken part in the best and closest state finals matches???

The most memorble for me was Steven "Bubba" Miller of Brentwood Academy beating Craig Long of The McCalle School. Bubba had him over his head then returned him to the mat. It was an incredible match between 2 incredible athletes.

Josh West (Bradley) and Shannon Sayne (Halls)

Nick Breeden (Seymour) and Will Barthalomew (MBA)

Keyonsay Moore (Cleveland) and Soddy Daisy

Shane Ford (Germantown) and Craig Johnson (Seymour)

Usary and Bundy was a good one last year.

That was a great heavyweight match. Low scoring nos stalling lots of action between two big athletic guys.

Bateman (Tommy) vs some chattanooga guy that had beaten him the year before or during the year or something. Wasnt close, Bateman destroyed him as I recall, but was a much anticipated revenge match. Need some Irish help here.

 

Tony Kennedy Stratford HS vs Jeff Howard , Cleveland HS? (Kennedy wins with five point move).

 

Alot of you posting werent born yet likely.

 

Only a couple of the good ol days when it was school vs school in the district, district verses district in the region, region vs region in the state. No D1, D2.

 

I feel like my dad I am sure, the new days could never be as good as the old days!

 

The new ones are exciting as well.
