Cheatham will not be last, nor will they continue to struggle. They have 4 players that are hurt or can't play till after Christmas that would get significant minutes when they come back, and 2 of them that will start. Yes they are struggling and it will be a very tough game on Tuesday. But don't count them out yet. As for #50 being "classless", that is true, he should never have come over there. But I think "classless" would be your student section and the way you acted. You say he was classless for doing that, and I agree he shouldn't have, but don't you think that you caused that outburst with your behavior in the stands?

On another subject, Harpeth will probably win against Cheatham on Tuesday, but they are sorely mistaken if they think they are going to sweep. Sycamore is a very good team, with smart basketball players, and a very good coach in Bryan Farmer. I predict Sycamore to take that game. Good luck to all this week.

Excellent points scanooni. Yours is the most intelligent post made. Everyone else is just talking crap. Cheatham will definitely recover. They have had so many hits to the program this first month losing 4 of their top 8 players (Piper - broken leg, Hoeh - bruised thigh, Calhoun - academically ineligible, Lawson - moved). After Christmas, with players back and some experience under their belts (3 starters with no varsity experience), Coach Stigall and Coach Stu will have them ready to compete in the District. Also, they are expecting a McGavock transfer to become eligible after Xmas. Right now, Cheatham is struggling just to put players on the floor. Remember, the season (and this team) is still young.

Were the Cheatham students taunting Sycamore players when their Cubs were up 41-3 when the starters exited the game back on September 10th?????

Learn how to handle success with CLASS folks because if all you want to do when you go to basketball games is try to get beneath players skin then don't go to the games. There is nothing wrong with going to a basketball game and cheering for your team but to do it by insulting others is simply CLASSLESS :P

Piper's injury back in the Liberty game in the opening round of the playoffs was a huge blow to the Cubs basketball team (not to mention a huge blow to the football team). Jack Hoeh is just now returning from injury and he did not play all that bad the other night. With him and Coker inside the Cubs got the potential to have a solid duo in the paint come tourney time. Joey Beach plays hard.

The one Cubs basketball player who must step his game up in my opinion is Don Dansby. He has not been as assertive this season as I thought he'd be coming into the year but maybe that's the way the Cubs coaches want him to play.

As for this week I have Harpeth beating the Cubs in Cheatham tomorrow night but I think it's gonna be closer than all of you experts believe. Harpeth may overlook the Cubs and be looking ahead to Friday night's big showdown vs Sycamore. I'll agree with scanooni on Friday's matchup. Sycamore is a very good basketball team that will win a bunch of games this season. They'll win at Harpeth on Friday night behind big performances from Moulton, Bullard, and Lohin.

catfish i think it is smart for us sycamorons to get under the skin of opposing teams players...its just another eliment that they have to deal with as for harpethfankid i actualy agree with u for once...it should be a great game friday i think the teams split the games each winning their home games, and harpeth SHOULD win big over cheatham...should...but make sure your pep club shows up cuz this will be a great game

Catfish...Well said

Even with Cheatham getting some of its players back I still think it will be hard for them to recover...

And I would also like to comment on the behavior in the stands...

-Sycamore...

I really love the excitment and fun you guys make the game...

I also like the constant yelling and cheering that your guys (and gals) do...

The pep club is really a cool thing...

-Cheatham...

I know its hard to cheer for a losing team but you guys had no peppyness (<if thatis a word) at all...

If Cheatham would have had sign and other things they would not have been complaining...

AND will everyone please quit posting the word "classless"...

Everyone has started using that since T.O. said it...so yeah

I actually think that as long as the pep club obeys the rules set by the administator...(there usually are none) ANYTHING GOES

But the pep club is a terrible thing to waste so everyone ban together and get as loud as you can for your team...

I, like some of you, believe that Sycamore will upset Harpeth...

...Well Im not sure you would call it an upset... but anyway

"dont take us sycamorons personal though we just love our boys..." thats the way Im sure we all are

Please read this and take it into consideration...

Well I wouldnt call it an upset either I think these teams are very equal it should be a very good game. As for the pep clubs and there being no rules our principal got on the intercom this morning and told us if we say stink or screwed than we will get escorted out of the gym which is pretty gay. And if you think that harpeth will over look cheatham you are sadly mistaken. THis is a rivalry game you dont overlook rivalry games. You should know that everybody that thinks that harpeth will overlook them. And I cant wait for friday.

Why haven't you agreed with me in the past????

Oh that's right I forgot that some people like to consistently shoot their mouths off about me behind my back. The bad thing is that the morons who do it keep telling the wrong people because those same people always come back and tell me who likes to talk a bunch of S_ _ T!!!!

The worst part of all is that the people I'm talking about for the most part are the exact same ones who should be mature enough to not have to talk about someone behind their back.

All that talk that you hear is from people that are COWARDS because not a single one of those folks have what it takes to confront a person man-to-man and speak their mind. They want to hide behind screen names on CoachT & try to make themselves look good by shooting their mouths off to other people.

I on the other hand would be more than happy to meet with any of the people I'm referring to, you know who you are folks, and work out this dislike you have for me face-to-face.

First of all, I don't think Cheatham gets dominated tonight as most people think. I think that they will come out and play alot better than they did Friday night against Sycamore. As it has been stated, Cheatham just doesn't have all of their players right now. They will be a better team after Christmas. But for now, they will struggle. Harpeth wins this one by 15.

As for Sycamore and Harpeth on Friday, I'm gonna wait on that pick. It's a toss-up right now.
