ELA..........looks like you have made all of us extremely proud. I have always said that it takes more of a coach to take a team to such extremes when you have all the intangibles against you than it does to take a talented team to the top every year.

Well, I just discovered this particular thread this morning and, like all of your fans, would like to extend my biggest congratulations to Coach Atkins. You not only made your old friends proud, but made a valuable impression on your new ones too. The players will have this season as something to remember for the rest of their lives.

papatj, there are some great places to live and I'm sure he loves NC, but you know there ain't nothing more beautiful than the Hills and Mountains of East TN! I'm not a native of TN but I think it is the best place to live! The creeks and streams of TN are some of the best in the nation. Take a hike through the Smokies and tell me is there a better place to live?

This summer (well in-fact, all of last year) has been one strange odyssey for me and my wife.
