HHS Stang Fever
I think it comes out in the coming Sunday edition. What a Christmas present.
Pauladcc
I have to respectfully disagree with the 2A LB choice. East Robertson had linebackers with more tackles and looked better than Goodpastures. How do they get their info anyway? Mine is straight off the Tennessean stats. oldtimeballer63
I'm sure many of us could agree and disagree about those who did and didn't make the list, but congrats to all those who did.

EastTNGuru
i know everyone is going to get on here and agree to disagree w/why so and so should / shouldnt be on the team.....but how do you leave off a kid who had 12 picks and returned at least 5 of them for TD's???? Brian Sommers of Alcoa left off??? is it because he's only a sophmore? fishy........

Brian Sommers of Alcoa left off??? is it because he's only a sophmore? fishy........ I'd say it's because Alcoa had 5 or 6 others make it. Don't worry with ability like that he'll get plenty of credit in the next two years. There's nothing wrong with saying who everyone feels should have made it, but I hope no one gets on here and points out a player they think shouldn't be on it. All of these guys deserve the recognition.

Congrats to Hampton's Adam Townsend in 1A & Happy Valley's Todd Caldwell in 2A for making the TSWA ALL STATE TEAM.......Upper East Tennessee does have some great football players. coachsmith81
Since we are talking about leaving kids off the list how does the QB from DCA make this team when our QB Dallis Dixon was named the Off Player of the Year 5-2A over the DCA and Goodpasture kids. That makes no sense what so ever. He was not all to impressive even though they beat us. We won our 1st round game. I agree there was better talent in east TN this year than i have seen in a while in 1a. Does anyone know if they gave 2nd team or honorable mention to anyone around here(east TN) because there were some more kids from Hampton , Cloudland , Cosby , and Harriman that I thought could have at least been mentioned that I havent seen on any list.
