WesVLT
Will anyone be able to post updates on each game of the Arby's Classic? I'm a cheap college student with a slow computer, but I'd love to hear updates from anyone who's keeping track of the tourney via webcast. This can be the official update thread. CoachT
The first game was won by Tabernacle Baptist, Bahamas over Elizabethton, 66-40. The video from the Arby's Classic is excellent. (You can right click and zoom for full screen). I watched the end of the first game and will watch the rest of them off-and-on today for $5. No, I don't get a cut. WesVLT
All right, my boredom got the best of me and I bought the webcast. I can help with the updates now. At the end of the first period, Southwest Atlanta Christian leads DB, 12-6.
WesVLT
SWAC leads DB 26-13 at halftime. The Indians shot 16% from the field. Crittenden is playing like the top ten recruit he is. Edited December 27, 2005 by WesVols
WesVLT
40-28 Southwest after 3.
bud
DB lost 60-35. SW had too much as they went on a big scoring streak in the 4th. Great Talent on that team. Don't know if anyone can hang with them for entire game except maybe Bolivar or BA. I think at one point in the 3rd DB was close with a score of 20-26, but SW has too much heigh, speed, and talent for DB this year Edited December 27, 2005 by bud
Guest catfish-hunter
Final margains of 26, 33, and 25 This tournament is pitting great teams against teams that just can't compete with them thus far
bud
It does not always happen that way though. Overall, teams in NE TN are down. DB, Science Hill, TN High and I think Twin Spring VA (another local team) is down a bit too. Sometimes there are many upsets in this tournament. This tournament has always had some of the best players and teams in the nation and local teams have won the tournament before. Science Hill is doing pretty well right now. This year there is probably not any team in the area that is capable of winning it all, and I don't consider BA in the area if you are wondering.
