As far as I know neither have and neither are expected to.

Tony Lambert would be an outstanding head coach. Any program would be lucky to have him. He has proven himself in the toughest region in 3-A. Ask any coach in 3-A and they will tell you about the defense that he puts on the field. Tony brings more to the table than just a tough defense. Football players respond to his style of coaching well. He knows how to fund raise and politic too. Last but not least, he is a winner. Powell should take a very close look at him before they make their decision. Ol hickory has spoken.

HTV,

I was'nt really serious, just wanted to get a laugh  .

Don't think Shepard would be interested in coming back to Knoxville. But he is nothing to laugh about. He was the last coach in the region to get the best of the almighty G. Q. and I think he had an overall winning record vs. Powell. Excellent coach and definately nothing to laugh about.

I agree HTV his style of coaching may not fit.

I'm sure many at Halls would love to see Shepard come to Powell, too. They'd love to see him do to Powell what he did to their program the last few years.

Hey Bill it couldn't be any worse than what Duncan did to PHS before he left and then Stephens added to the misery. Now we have the possiblity of Lowe escorting PHS to a new "Lowe".

Tony's ready to be a head coach. I don't think you could go wrong with him. He's hardnosed, hardworking and the kids love him. I hope the Powell people give him a look.
