GHenderson
I think everyone here would agree that a bad year for Farragut is a good year for most any other school in Region II. Meaning that Farragut has dominated almost the last decade in our Region and that the possibility of sending 5 wrestlers to State would be welcomed by any other team. No one is against Farragut here, but I don't blame Maryville for getting excited about their team this year, either.
Sommers
If I understand the rules concerning a runner up coming from the Chattanooga region, then I think Ooltewah will possibly make its first ever Clarksville trip. Good luck Owls, your hard work is paying off. I agree with this 100%

Both Springfield and Smyrna HAVE won against Beech. Danny Gilbert will be steam rolling into the duals like he did against some stronger teams,,, better than Red Bank this season. Do you know something changing the match ups(key injuries or otherwise about these teams)? Other than that, who can really dispute this. Nice job!! aolisbad
Springfield will be a contender with Hendersonville. Beech won't cut it. That was clear the night they didn't show at Kenwood and thier fans did! I'll pick Kenwood over Springfield but a Hendeesonville team over Kenwood. CoachGonyeaTemp
Don't put Smyrna in the mix. We will be luck to field a whole team this coming Saturday. My pick is Hendersonville and Rossview. Coach Gonyea

No one is against Farragut here, but I don't blame Maryville for getting excited about their team this year, either. I agree that Maryville is the Big Dog in Region 2. But a little history never hurts. Even when Farragut won the Region Duals it came down to the last match a couple of times against the rebs to win the Region Duals. So I have the highest respect for Maryvilles program and IMO they have a better student turnout than FHS ever gets. So more power to the rebs but you got to support the School your kids have given their sweat and blood too. Because of recent events I don't see Farragut getting to the finals in the Duals. They might still have a chance in the Traditional Region but it will depend on # of pins and the # in the finals. I say we could have 2 to 4 in the finals. Out of that only 1 is a lock. DevilsOL70
Soddy, Bradley, Franklin, Farragut, Science Hill, Tullahoma, Hendersonville.... I think that it will be a close match, but i have to give the edge to greeneville. They have alot of senior leadership, and kids who really want to win. The coaches are top notch, so I think greeneville clinches. Soddy, Bradley, Franklin, Farragut, Science Hill, Tullahoma, Hendersonville.... Soddy, Bradley, Franklin, Farragut, Science Hill, Tullahoma, Hendersonville.... my bad wrong box
