If you haven't been to a Pred game then you are missing a Treat.... This is the fastest game there is and THE most exciting to watch in person.....

Hey dandy, I think you'll be proud of me for this one. My brother is a huge Preds fan, and as you know, I am a "Bloser" fan (i have to call them that now because the literally stink.......... bad). Anyway, my brother got me tickets to the April 15th game vs Phoenix. I am more psyched about seeing Wayne Gretzky, but I will be rooting for the preds. My brother even went as fas as getting me a jersey for gameday.

Don't think I am bandwagoner by no means. I hate bandwagon fans. The blues are still #1 in my heart, but hockey this season hasn't felt right with them on the losing end of almost every game. This is the only way I will be able to watch hockey for the next couple of seasons (by going to a preds game).

After taking two in a row at the "Joe", Preds should be getting some respect. Detroit fans are dismissing the Pred fans with the attitude of "talk to me in May" or "you hicks getting excited over a regular season game is hilarious", and other such attitudes. They consider us only as taking the role now abdicated by the Blues - that being a decent team, a runner-up team, no real threat. While all of this has some truth to it - you've got to believe that the way the team is constructed now, and the new rules where our style can be exploited, has gotten their concern.

AS LONG AS WE DON'T COMMITT 3 PENALTIES PER PERIOD; we can hang with anyone.

I'm a fan of many sports and have been to my fair share of profesional sporting events..... but there is nothing like a well played hockey game....in person.... TV doesn't do the game of hockey any favors.... It is a game that you must attend...

The Preds are playing within their system and, imo, have one of the best goalies in the NHL...... A bonafide star..... Are we as good as Detriot on paper???? Probably not, but you don't play on paper, just ask the Steelers.

Look for a possible trade near the deadline to bring in a physical D-man or possibly a ligit #1 center. There isn't another hockey franchise around who could have survived the injuries the Preds have endured and still played at such a high level.... The Preds have one of the best ownership groups in professional sports.... and the new rules allow the talented players to show their talents...instead of the less talented players clutching, hooking and grabbing....

I don't know what the playoffs will hold, but this team is built for long term success and should be good for years to come.....

Get your butt to the GEC.....

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
