whats up guys i think waynesboro will win the game 50- 42

they will shut down andrews on the all points of the floor no question :P

Liberty must be ready to play a complete game no doubt but shutting down the Andrews kid hasn't happened all year 555dog. I'd bet on a ###### ant eating a bale of hay before he is shut down on all points of the floor. Hey and I don't like betting. If Andrews moved to Waynesboro this next week, he'd be the BEST ATHLETE in the whole county.

What a great game, sorry Liberty lost but the team had a great season with only two losses. Liberty's boys played with lots of heart and never gave up. Great job guys.

Waynesboro played really well together. I would expect to hear things from, see this group do well in high school.

I'm sticking to what I said before, no one in middle school around this area can/will stop Andrews. They haven't all year and #22 didn't today at all. Scoring 27 points!!! Come on now!! Obviously as you travel west down highway 64 the term "shut down" has a different meaning than here in middle Tennessee.

Oops, almost forgot. I thought it was very classy when a young lady from Waynesboro's student cheering section shook in the face of Andrews and hit him with two of the balloon type cheering objects the students had with them. I know I would have beaten my child if they did or acted in that way towards anyone.

Good luck to all players from both teams in the future, this is a great time in their young lives.

Go Liberty and Shelbyville Central!!!

The big difference here is that there is an I in Liberty but no I in team Waynesboro.

Andrews is the best pure shooter I have ever seen at the middle/junior high level. He did only have 12 points and no 3 point baskets through 3 quarters today, and he did hit two late (meaningless) 3's in the last 38 seconds after the game was decided. He is a great talent, but you have to give WMS credit for containing him for three plus quarters.

I was very impressed with WMS's defensive game plan by putting a chaser on Andrews and giving some type of 4 man zone look to the rest of the team. They did switch two different players on Andrews throughout the game, and they both did an admirable job in keeping him from getting on scoring binges. I think it was Barnett #22 and Austin Rice #12. I was wondering why Liberty did not try some type of different offensive set beides the high ball screen at the top of the key.

Congratultions to WMS for great tournament and champoinship in Murfreesboro and good luck in the TNT.

P.S. In rebuttle to the comment about the student problem with the noise maker, I would like to hear your comments on the four adult individuals who were escorted out of the gym during the third quarter. I assume they are Liberty fans.

What an intense game today. Both teams are great and props to the Waynesboro boys for having it together today. We're very proud of our Liberty boys -- wow! What a great season!!!

But to see the way those two girls treated Emmanuel when he was walking off the court was absolutely sickening. It was totally uncalled for and just plain wrong. Emmanuel is a great kid and a sensational ballplayer. Everybody likes him and all the little ones really look up to him. He is never too cool to talk to them and always includes them in everything. As a Liberty parent, it really hurt me to see him treated this way. We love our #21 and I, for one, didn't appreciate the way those two girls treated him. It really showed a lack of class as far as I'm concerned. I can't believe their mother didn't put the smackdown on them. Mine wouldn't have been able to walk for a week if they had done such a thing. Unbelievable.

Congrats again to Waynesboro.

Those individuals were sent out due to a misunderstanding with a referee. I can guarantee you they would NEVER do or condone anything like what was done to Emmanuel. You surely can't compare the two situations. Emmanuel was hit in the FACE as he walked off the court. He wasn't hurt or anything like that, but to say it was disrespectful of another human being is an understatement.
