I was reading on the internet and found these articles. Is their Head coach wanting to leave. Looks like it to me. Can someone from Jasper answer my question.

I agree...I'll stick with our guy until he officially says that he's leaving. Just because he talked to them about the job doesn't necessarily mean that he's taking it. At least I hope not.

I heard this the other day but I agree with MC and others that it may be rumor because of the transitions going on in the valley. Don't worry too much about rumors Warrior faithful.

Hey BILL.... Have you heard anything about this and can you shed some light on it for us?

 

Borrowing from the old song "A country boy will survive". There was football after Coach Colquette left, there was football after Coach Pickett left, there was football after Coach Taylor left and there will be football after all the present coaching staff is dead and buried. Football will survive at Marion County High School.

 

Coach Pruitt has not left and I don't know if he will. The man only drives an hour to school and an hour home every night. Financially the system doesn't pay well enough to continue that. We are happy right now but if things change we will deal with it.

Well if the coach does leave that will leave two valley jobs open and I just can't believe that a valley legend won't end up in one of those two jobs. I'd bet there's plenty at MCHS that would love to have him back. He was seen at a recent basketball game sitting with the MCHS crowd anyway so maybe the deal is already in the works?
