WOW Jake West thats a joke, he wont get MVP for 11aa much less MR Basketball. I bet all these kids can perform in a big game situation jake west can not. Jake West cant hold any of these kids jock straps.

I have been WAITING for someone to mention this....to say that a certain team coined the phrase (their team) Nation is like saying you invented cheering for sporting events.

You know I started to wonder...who coined the term Nation as a sporting term???? Here in TN we believe it to be the Vols however...there are SEVERAL other teams that use it

It's like Al Gore saying he invented the internet. We certainly never claimed it. So give up on calling us a knockoff nation/ copycats or whatever else because can't exactly apply that when there are hordes of university and professional teams using the same word.

Also what chants do we copy from Duke.

 

Since there are so many teams using the term nation don't you think you could come up with something original.

I have NEVER in my life heard them do the jeopardy theme song and I swear to that one...I was bored when a team was stalling vs. us one time and I just started humming that to myself and then we all decided to do it.

Also they do the spirit fingers on inbounds only..never seen them do it while the other team has the ball on offense.

We actually started it because you can hold your OO longer doing that then u can jumping up and down hah and at least ur doing something instead of just saying OOO standing there.
