There is a bit of difference between bearden and riverdale, don't you think? how many of the men who were offered the job at riverdale turned it down?

I heard last week that they are going to ask somebody this week to take the job but dont know who. If its true I hope whoever it is takes it.

will this be the 3rd or 4th coach offered this job? It's been clear that coach grey and coach hardegree have both turned it down, but I'm also hearing rumors that the #3 in line turned the job down as well. However, no one will say who the #3 man was.

I wonder if the problem is because of the limited teaching spots for assistant coaches? That has to be the hold up and why so many people are turning the job down.

I guess my comparison is off base... what I was trying to say is that if you drag things out, or are indecisive, this is what you get. I'm just saying that this shouldn't have been as hard as it has turned out.

I certainly agree with you on that, but you can't expect a school system the size of knox co. to be able to comply with demands of more money and coaching positions.

Are you saying they are too big or too small to pay competatively and have positions for assistants? It seems like all the other school systems are having no problem...and by the way...Knox County Schools is not nearly the largest school system in the state and not near the smallest. So I guess a school sytem of medium size is the only ones that can't have flexibility.
