GLee
Elizabethton might end up in last place of the world, but after watching the work eithic thru discipline, attention to detail in every area of the game, drills and conditioning I am impressed with Coach Gil Payne of the Cyclones. He is as good as any I've seen at the high school level and I've seen a few. I never saw him when he was at the college level, but I'm sure he was even better. Good job Coach! This man has already earned and deserves recognition. Nothing is given to the players.......they have to earn it.
bhscoach
Phil Clark at Bartlett High school. Not only did he win state championships at Germantown but he has turned around the Bartlett program and has made them contenders as well. bhsbaseball
I don't understand why this conversation comes up every year. No one has put themselves on the platform from last year to add them to a new list. once your coach wins back-to-back state championships, or a national title, you can put their name on here with the Phil Clark's and Pharr's.
