Bear22
ooltewah is a fairly older team if i can remember they should be mainly seniors this year yes?
doctn
Ooltewah will be in the middle of the class for their district. SD and Red Bank should be fighting for #1 and #2 while Ooltewah will be fighting for #2 or #3 spot.
gracekeeper12
Ooltewah will be in the middle of the class for their district. SD and Red Bank should be fighting for #1 and #2 while Ooltewah will be fighting for #2 or #3 spot. You obviously don't know much about the present teams. SD lost a lot and Ooltewah lost 0 from last years team. And if I remember corectly, Ooltewah gave SD all they could handle in their meeting(s). I think Ooltewah will handle both of those teams with relative ease. And they have, by far, the best coach in the region.
AFRICANOWL
yeah ooltewah lost none of their varsity players from last year just the same team only more improved but only time will tell First scrimmage is Thursday 23 at 5 at the nest VS Cleveland
soccermadness
if the owls make it to the region finals..who would be the two likely teams they might meet in the sectionals?

OwlsBaseball
A fairly well played defensive game from what I've been told... Blair sat out some of the starters (Lowe, Tackling & Bro, Golden) not to mention Sanchez on the sidelines til opening day....
AFRICANOWL
no sanchez is injured Lowe was outta town for a college visit DT has some virus thing and craig was out of town for mock trial thing, so now im injured to lol o well 2 weeks isnt much time to set up a team and it showed on both sides GG everyone
OwlsBaseball
I didn't want to give away he was injured... moron The phrase "on the sidelines til opening day" specifically clarified that... By the way, is this Powell kid the real deal? Heard a lot of hype about him coming out of middle school and the possibility of bumpin someone from a starting spot.. OwlsGK30
Basically.... no one will be seeing the full Ooltewah roster in any scrimmage due to different things... The roster however is basically the same roster as last year, but that full team will not be playing as a whole in any scrimmage so I guess everyone will just have to wait until opening day! They scrimmaged father ryan and lost a well played game by both teams 1-0, and everyone knows Father Ryan is a state contender every year in D2. YEs Soddy lost a lot but did have quite a bit of depth from the year before but the kids didnt play as much as they would have liked due to so many seniors. However the attitude this year is a much better one than last years. Coach Drummond is really enforcing discipline this year. There is also more guys excited to be playing varsity soccer and are not just going through the motions. The team concept is definately a part of Soddy Daisy soccer this year. All im saying is i wouldnt count Soddy out of the mix for district or region just yet. Just a little food for thought.
