In my honest opinion, I think it's going to be Weatherly, Thomas, Pickel, and Easley.

Not sure about the other classes. I really can't believe that Jana Cross was left out of the nominations. I'm not from Loretto, but looking at her stats and performance I figured she would be a finalist in AA. Anyway, I feel Weatherly will win Class A. She lead this team throughout the year, while Edney was out with an injury, and proved she was worthy of this honor

It seems to me that in previous years, they publish the "also receiving votes" catagory. Did they do that again and does someone know where it can be found if they did?

Has an 8th grader ever been a finalist? The Leonard girl from Red Boiling Springs should have been a finalist! She has led her team to the championship game in the district tonite against Jackson Co. has led them to a 27-4 record this year and 2nd place in a very tough 7A district with 2 wins over a very good Clarkrange team She is a very deserving player for this award as her season is not over yet!!!! Stay Tuned

Why is everyone hatin on S.E. TN?

 

Danielle Rector is a finalist because she is obviously one of the top three in the state. If she doesn't get the nod it will have a lot to do with her being a Jr. and not her stats or ability.

 

Congrats to all the girls! And even to the girls who didn't make it but maybe should have.
