Hunters Lane vs. Franklin - Region 6AAA Semi's

Should be a very entertaining game. Both teams play the same style of game, I'll take the over in Vegas on this one.

 

Franklin will have trouble stopping HL's warp speed fast break, HL will have trouble dealing with Franklin's discipline and post play- namely Sisk.

 

Both teams have underachieved a bit in the past in regional play, I'll take Franklin in a close one, just got the feeling that it's their year...........

Hunters Lane wins in a close one. Just dont see Franklin stopping the Warriors up tempo offense and three point shooting. Could it be a metro region championship this year?? I think so.

A fast style of play is the style both teams want to play. However, with the emergence of Batt and Siske in the post, and Glover knocking down shots inside and outside, the Rebels have some size that is potent. I haven't seen HL this year but I know they have good ###### play. Second chance buckets could be the key, unless one team shoots lights out! Hopefully a close game, and hopefully the Rebels will continue to play with poise and confidence. Coin flip if you ask me, based on what I've heard about HL.

Think of Hunters Lane as.....a high school version of Villanova University basketball. They play 4 guards, and then one somewhat tall forward. Both play a uptempo style of play...and love to shoo the three ball. If you have seen Villanova play, then thats Hunters Lane. Best way I can describe them.

 

I havent seen Franklin play, but Ive heard good things. And when you loose only one game to a TN team all season(even though it was a metro team ), thats saying something. If they can slow down the Warriors fast break offens, and limit their three point shooting, they have a good chance for a win.

Yep, it's lose and go home for either team. Franklin handled HL pretty well @ the David Lipscomb summer camp. But that was then & this is now. Should be a close game. Go REBELS!!!

I have seen Franklin only once. I know they have an impressive record.

But if they run with Hunters Lane, they're gonna get beat.
