Congradulations Lady Bobcats(LB)! The next step, MadMag, should get any uneasiness out of the way. The LB's can hit you from so many angles, making it hard for teams to focus on one aspect that you must stop. Madison won't rattle the phenom, Christopher, but sometimes the other guards have "slipped" under pressure. Make no mistake though, OS is very deserving of being in the tournament and is quite capable of marching to the championship game. Regular doses of Oneida and Coalfield in the postseason have certainly sharpened the Bobcat's Claws. MadMag is out of the West, and appears to have had little opposition though there district slate. They, too, figure they have the guns to reach the "big Game". Their record certainly reflects that. Anybody that gets this far is playing well, so they must cetainly be brimming with confidence. They will be tested from tip to horn by the LB's. I'd say the guards for OS are going to work for good looks and what ever doesn't go in their bigs are more than capable of cleaning it up. I really think MadMag will meet a determined and motivated team, and OS will advance based on the the balance they get in scoring throughout their line-up. (Who ya gonna guard?)

OS - 47

MadMag - 39

It was brought up in the paper today (Knoxville). You folks will be making a mistake if you let Coach Christopher step down from the present position she is in. She is a very savvy coach and obviously know her X's and O's. She really represents your school in a positive manner, which in my opinion, is often hard to do these days. I've heard there are other coaches chomping at the chance to take over this position and it is without question a "golden" opportunity. However, it looks to me as if you have found your coach..........keep her happy and she'll probably make you happy. Good luck tonight, 2-A is rooting for you.

    • Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.
    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
