yeah..but what does anyone know any thing bout th OS jv team from last season i heard they were pretty good but does anyone know there main players???

I'm not sure about the JV players, I heard they were decent. With the 4-5 players returning with experience, they only need a few to emerge as contributors. I guess we will see this summer if any are ready!

 

As for the region, I'm ready to see next season begin!

Yes, Jamie is going to be a SR, but he transfered to Clinton during this season. He played some but wasn't a starter(he backed up the starters). He also was injured some during the season before he transfered which hurt a bit.

Back to the topic....there are 4 potential rising seniors on the team in West, Wampler, Wrinkle and Jones. All 4 are talented and will contribute to the team next year. ALong with the upcoming seniors, there are based on last years roster, 6 upcoming juniors, most who were mainly JV players. The team will be quicker and better defenders than last years team as well as having that inside-outside threat from last year.

 

But talk is cheap, they have the opportunity to do well, but they have to work during the offseason in the gym and weightroom as well as accept new roles and thrive in them. This summer will be interesting and exciting on who will step up!!!

But will Johnson leaving hurt you guys and was he a good ball player for you?? Do you think he could play a Clinton??

Everyone thinks that Wartburg is going to struggle this year, but I really don't think so. They have a 6'6 Senior in Tyler Winstead starting down low. Also, they return a 6'5 Senior in DJ Shannon to accompany him. Also for the dogs, you have a powerful player that has no trouble scoring downlow in Anthony Rogers. Of course, Wartburg returns Travis Nelson, who is always a defensive AND offensive threat. Wartburg's main key this year will be their defense. Scoring will never be a problem as long as Joe Layne is running the show at Wartburg. He's always got something offensive to throw at anyone. Wartburg will work with what they have this year and be as competitive if not more competitive than last year, with more height and as much quickness in for the season.

I must agree with Harvo20. I think Wartburg will be a strong contender again this year even though they did lose a lot of talent. They have some very promising players. It seems no one is giving the DAWGS the respect they deserve. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Wartburg will struggle with good teams I believe Rockwood Harriman Cosby and Oliver Spings all look to be a better team . Dj Shannon is the single most overrated player in the Region. HANDS DOWN

Should be a very good year in single A alot of talent there good luck to all teams
