Drew Brees is about to become the next quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. The big question here now is what do the Saints do with their draft pick. I say they TRADE IT!!!! With Bush gone and Leinart, Young, and Cutler being the best players available I say the Saints trade that #2 pick.

John Kitna is out of Cincy. He will be the new starting quarterback for the Detroit Lions next year and who is the Lions offensive coordinator????? Mike Martz. With Kevin Jones in the backfield and those young receivers this is a franchise that should be much better with a proven quarterback under center. Playing in a division where the Packers are a question mark, the Vikings just lost their best player to Miami, and the Bears are still a horrible offensive football team I say that the Lions could go to the playoffs next year.

I agree the Lions will be awful until they can get some Defense, and they need to stick with Joey Harrington....

a little protection for Harrington would be nice too.

Apparently alot of people on this site think the only two talented QB's in the NFL are McNair and Manning. Kitna was the QB for the Bengals till they pulled the plug and put in Palmer. Kitna was the comeback player of the year and was bench!! This man has talent and will help out the Lions tremendously.

I totally agree, Kitna will make a difference if they can keep him on his feet and not on his back!! ;)

As far as the Saints go, what about the RB position...is McCallister going to be back? If not, go with DeAngelo. But they will prolly trade. Its gonna be messy come draft day.

John Kitna going to the Lions, not a bad move at all i dont think. He has the Knowledge, maybe a Maddox-Roethlisberger situation...maybe not. How old is Kitna, he is up there for a QB isnt he, cause teach Harrington some things, get and O Line and D line, keep the WR's and i think they are good..

Vikings- I think Brad Johnson can do a good job in Minn. He showed that he could actually play at the next level last year. Dolhins get Culpepper, good for them, good luck try to better that 8-8 record, good luck doing that with a Washup QB tho

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
