To the siegel players- great job at the Rotary. Im hoping that we can play yall again this year, we never got to finish our last match at MBA and I would love to play you guys again. I hope that the acts of some of our players *will* dont bring bad blood between our teams.

Are yall going to the Carter Invitational in late April? Good luck in AAA

I do remember playing USJ and seeing that they had a good team. We developed a small rivalry with USJ just at the Chattanooga Rotary Tournament...

When we played Jackson at the beginning of the year, (Siegel) was missing a player. Also, Guerra was played at number 3 for some reason? Colton Norton won a close match at the two spot and Kyle Wishing defeated Will Magee at the one spot. I gues the lineups at Rotary were the official lineups for the remainder of the season? I can say that Kyle did not play a good match against Guerra, if they played again I'm sure it would be much closer.

Siegel won't be in the Carter this year...we have a Tri-Match with Webb-Knox, Trinity, and another school later in the month

Guest Cutters Crazies

I will say that someone needs to explain to Will how to play tennis without hooking...that stuff wont work in college if he is going to UTM. He got a pretty bad reputation from all the schools at Rotary that I talked to. (TN High, Science Hill, Brentwood). Guerrera is a good player, I wish him and Kyle could play again, not that I think Wishing would win just want to see both of them at the top of their game. Would be entertaining.

That being said, USJ should roll through A-AA from what I saw last year at state. I assumed they were in D2 since they were a private school but the hardest tests you have left are the Carter Classic and after that it is smooth sailing to a state title in A/AA.

nation_supp89, Im guessing you play for siegel, what number do you play?

when we played yall for the first time we were still experimenting with our lineup.

Our lineup as of now is

1. Lucas guerra

2. Will Magee

3. Colton Norton

4. Hunt Magee

5. Ben Gaines

6. Frank Crocker

I do play for Siegel...but our lineup right now may change so I won't disclose that info

If USJ and Siegel played right now tihs is how i think it would play out

1) USJ

2) USJ

3)USJ

4)Siegel

5)Siegel

6)Siegel

Also, I'd like to know from a player at USJ if you agree that Will does indeed hook players? Every match I've watched he's made flagrant bad calls on lines

our lineup isnt official and will change im sure. I had to sit out for almost 8 months due to shoulder surgery and Im just now starting to beable to get the ball back in the court.

As for will, if you would like to discuss his calls and whatever,

send me an email at frankiec996@yahoo.com or just give me your email

will makes good calls.

He told me today that he never tries to cheat anyone. He's a good player.

Since in tennis we call all of our own shots, we are human and there will be a few bad ones on both sides.

90% of people, if the ball is extremly close to the line, will give the opponent the benifit of the doubt

10% wont. and will is in that category.

Its also kind of funny that he hasnt had any controversy with any other team but siegel :(

Posting on someone elses name here but...

Ask Science Hill and Tennessee High about that. Will went 3 sets with one of them not sure which one and I talked to one of them after and you would change your tone of only Siegel if u heard what he said. I believe they tried to get a line judge but nobody would be a line judge for them if i remember correctly...so that statement of only Siegel has problems with him.....is completely false.

lord yes, he is a very good soccer player but it gives me a heart attack everytime he plays.

He is playing in like 2 more games then he is done and just playing tennis.

Im not trying to direct this thread as a hate message against will. It would be appreciated if you would just comment on us as a team and not just focus on the faults on one of our players.

Thanks guys

    • Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.
    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
