well folks I have laid dormant for a while but it is time for us to think about the 2006 season...does Loudon have a chance this year? why or why not?

Alcoa should still beat Loudon and CAK pretty handily.

loudon will be good this year. they have a great player in josh hawkins but they can not play with alcoa so they are playing for 2nd this year again

no because alcoa is in there region

Alcoa will dominate the region. Too many athletes for the other schools in that region to compete with. Other teams may have 1 or 2 good players. Alcoa is loaded with good players.

I am not implying in anyway that Loudon,CAK and Alcoa are the only teams in the region...I merely asked the question if Loudon would be a contender this year.

I believe the top 4 teams in the region will be Alcoa , Loudon , Rockwood & CAK. They may not finish in that order, but those will be my playoff qualifiers. Sweetwater may break into the group if they can find their "Mojo "

Well if you want to get technical about it there are 4 more in the region: Sweetwater, Rockwood, Oliver Springs and oh yeah this little team in the south end of morgan county i think it is called wartburg but since we are talking about the region champs they are a long shot, although Oliver Springs might have a chance and you never know about Rockwood so i guess we will have to just wait and watch, but i think oliver springs and rockwood will fight it out for the fourth spot in the region and unless Alcoa is overhyped i think they will be first and CAK and Loundon 2nd and 3rd or vice versa just depends who shows up when the two play.
