Whats going on this year with Grundy ? I know their young but what about the coaching.

Tell us DEl, what are they talking about? Also, someone tell me about last nite's game with Notre Dame...I know that at 945cst, it was in the thirteenth inning, and we were still playing. Grundy lost by one, but who did good and all that stuff?

It sounds like the other teams are scoring more runs, or maybe Grundy is scoring fewer than their opponents. One average or below average season shouldn't mean Grundy baseball is history, after the last several seasons of success.

Del, doesn't GC have several good players playing in other counties?

In my humble opinion baseball is down all over the district this year. I've also heard that from some much baseball smarter than me.

Several? I don't know about several. I can think of 2 and they're playing with family so I don't know how anybody can have an issue with it. Now some may count more playing in Jasper but if the boys went to Monteagle Elementary they were going to a Marion Co. school then so they're entitled to go to a Marion co secondary school.

 

I look at it this way. If Grundy isn't at the top this year it's because it's someone else's turn. Nobody gets to be #1 all the time.
