Siegel might have the toughest route, Barnes and if they win that they get Choate.

Siegel proved they can hit hard throwing lefty's this year. They would much rather see a Choate/Barnes than a Killian first round. Pitching pretty much drops off for both Oakland and Riverdale after their two #1's. Woods has impressed me though this year, and will be a key pitcher for Riverdale in this tournament. I see Riverdale saving Choate for game 2 against the winner of Oakland/Siegel.

He is right though, I would much rather be in the bottom bracket. All they have to do is make it to the championship game IF Riverdale makes it there. And personally i think SHS and OHS are the 2nd and 3rd best teams even if the records dont show it. The top bracket is definately the tougher bracket.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read the 4th and 5th place teams are the 2nd and 3rd best. So what s the excuse whythey are 4th and 5th

No excuse really. Siegel could be 2nd place right now if they would have won one more district game. They could have easily split with Riverdale (they were ahead both games), swept cookeville, and takes two from Lebanon. Bottom line is that they didnt get the job done. No use crying over spilt milk. Siegel still has a good chance in my opinion. Will be tough going against Barnes first round though.

Well if that is the case then there shouldn't have been a race after last week because Blackman had a chance to Sweep Riverdale losing 1-0 and blowing a 5 run lead in the top of the 7th in game two. But like you said no use crying over spilled milk it's tourney time everybody is 0-0 now. I am predicting like I did earlier Riverdale will not win the District championship

It was a 3 run lead, not a 5 run lead. And let me rephrase what I said earlier, I personally believe that Oakland and Siegel have more talent than Blackman and Warren County but just didn't get the job done. But just because they have more talent does not mean they are a better team. Is that better? Or can you find something to whine about in this post too?

I do believe you are wrong there. It was a 5 run lead and then again, not sure it was truly blown by Blackman. Seems like there was lots of problems with Riverdale players on the field while the ball was in play. But then again, Blackman still didn't get the job done in the end.

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
