I agree...the player said the ball hit him on the one that was called a past ball...and when Lamm Gunned the player on the play off the wall neither ump made a call AT ALL...it was HORRIBLE...and then one GC player got 4 strikes...AMAZING!!!

Yeah, umpiring was horrible for BOTH sides. One time, a Loretto player came up to bat and the umpire said it was a 1-0 count when the batter had not even seen a pitch yet. He didn't call a balk, though because the runner on first base did not advance to second.

 

Long story short: officiating was bad for both sides.

 

GCHS played a great game, Loretto just came up with the big hit when it mattered most.

Will Cox, two out, bases loaded single to left. The umpires were from an association in between Spring Hill and Mt. Pleasant. The worst officiated game, for both teams that I have ever seen at ANY level of baseball.
