What teams in any divison have the toughest roads to the state championship, obviously teams from east of knoxville have the toughest sectional matchups in public schools and team from the west have the tougher in DII cause of their powerhouses but what individual teams will have the easiest and hardest roads to M'boro,, I'd like your opinions..

I think Madison and dyersburg have the easiest in A/AA neither has or will face anybody until state im just guessin you'll be greeted with a little bit of reality when you step on the field with Knox catholic, CAK, Notre Dame, or CCS, that will be intersting

Pigeon forge and elizabethton have the hardest, having to beat either Knox Catholic or CAK to make the trip, but also CSAS and Boyd-buchanan will be challenged equally as hard with CCS and notre dame so they all tie for hardest road in my opinion

Region 1 and 2 are both strong in AAA as well as in region 5 and 6, with teams like farragut, bearden, science hill, MO.west, Brentwood hendersonville, beating one of these must be tough.

and i think Houston walks to state easily, they dont seem to have that much competition on their way, but they are a great team, many tough regions but these are the toughest

as for DII i think its always tough with so many good teams, probably the top teams in the state could be the best private schools so i wont put down anybody in this category, its all tough

I agree, both Madison and Dyersburg hav proven to be the best two teams in the west and should be able to beat every team they face befor gettin to state. It will be very interesing to see the top two teams form the west face the powerhouses of soccer like Catholic, CAK, Notre Dame, and CCS. I hope Madison and Dyersburg get the chance to step on the field with them. Good luck to both of them.

Have to disagree with the sentence about the strength of Division II. Odds are, the top teams will make it to the state tournament easily because there aren't that many quality teams. This division doesn't have much depth, so the better teams across the state shouldn't face much trouble.

In the other two divisions, there are teams all across the state who could make it. Some good teams in both classes will get knocked out.

As for overall strength of Div. II, I disagree there too. Of the top 5 or 6 teams in the state overall, only one comes from Division II. You can't put MBA up there. You can't put Father Ryan up there. You can't put BGA up there.

so bruinsoccer you sayin that cbhs, mccallie, father ryan, knox webb, MUS, BGA arent some of the best ,these are all great teams, who can play or beat abybody in the state, they are automatic in DII, I belive that BGA, was ranked 2nd in are region in the national rankings, with CBHS number 1 and number 2 in the nation records dont always show talent and strength of a team

In A/AA... i agree madison and dyersburg have easy roads there, but either way both of them have tough sectional matches, if dyersburg loses to usj or martin, then madison will be playing them in sectionals, and usj or martin westview will be playing against sheffield, so sectionals could be a bit surprising believe it or not

You have got to be kidding. How can you say that BGA isn't even in the top six of the state. Who would you have up there then. Seriously: CBHS, Houston, Brentwood (maybe), but who else is better. Hendersonville? I agree Ryan shouldn't be there, but MBA is a very good team also. I think you should look into what you are saying.

my prediction for the teams going to state are:

Hendersonville,

Gtown Houston,

Riverdale,

Mcminn County,

Ridgeway,

Bearden,

Brentwood, and

Farragut (Science Hill) either one

that puts hendersonville vs. Houston

Riverdale vs. Science Hill (Farragut)

Mcminn vs. Ridgeway

Bearden vs. Brentwood in the first round

some of the 'better' teams are going out the first round with the big game being Hendersonville vs. Houston

just my prediction, i like it.

lets go farther:

Houston takes it and faces Farragut (Science Hill)

Bearden takes it (haha) and faces Mcminn County

putting Houston and Bearden/Brentwood in the final match up

and i personally think Houston is going to take it all this year.

p.s. I reallly do not know who would win Bearden vs. Brentwood it should be a great game; i just think Bearden's schedule was harder and they will take it

well this was fun, what do you all think? (anything can happen)

i hope i didn't mess up with the schedule.

Houston vs Hendersonville

Riverdale vs Science Hill

Brentwood vs Bearden

Ridgeway vs McMinn County or Ooltewah

mine is almost exactly the same :thumb:

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
