Id say David Lipscomb. From what I saw against Marshall County, Lipscomb didn't look like a championship team but a decent team that could be in the state tourney. I haven't seen Harpeth this year.

Mustangs coming off big wins against Marshall County and Ezell. Lots of momentum. Beat Harpeth in every game that has been played between the two including this year. At home Lipscomb wins again!

All depends on the same thing every game depends on. Good pitching, timely hitting, and NO key mistakes.

 

I'd say Lipscomb is more likely to make a key mistake given equal opportunities, but pitching and timely hitting will be more important.

 

Lipscombs #2 pitcher will start, Harpeth's #1.

 

Should be good, close game.

Played both this year although Lipscomb was very early in the year should be a good game but i think if Harpeth plays solid D then they win in a thriller

Lipscomb pitched the their #2 in the previous game and Harpeth scored one run.

I can't remember if it was earned. If Harpeth hits better they may win. Lipscomb is not an above average hitting team.

Harpeth was winning 14-1 in the top of the 7th from what i heard so i'm assuming they won

Yep. Harpeth advances 14-1. Unofficially, the word is Erland went the distance giving up 3 hits and the Indians hit it pretty good, but Lipscomb made 4 or 5 errors in the game. Tough luck Lipscomb. Good job Harpeth.

 

Harpeth will play the winner of Mitchell/USJ at Columbia State in Game 2 according to the TSSAA bracket. Any idea when? I've heard Tuesday.
