MC is up 4-1 on Haywood goin to Haywood's half of the 7th with #s 7,8 & 9 up. Haywood got their run on a homer. MC exploded for 3 runs in one inning with one runner out for missing third.

I think they will play the winner of Goodpasture & Covington and Alcoa will play the loser....

Goodpasture won 3-2 over Covington with the winning run coming in the bottom of the 7th.

We did not know much about covington coming in. Best defensive team we have seen this year. very fast and very good base runners. The last hit of the game the centerfielder made a great diving attempt to keep the game going, but the ground caused the ball to pop out. I would not be surprised if they make it back to the championship game.

Greenbrier won 1-0 in 10 innings. The fought hard the whole game and beat a very good Gibbs teams.
