Stewart County Surprise Team?

Do they not have English classes in Stewart County? They could at least have grammar classes and maybe spelling class every other semester or something.

Lemme see, that was 1999 I believe, and Camden beat Steward Co. the next year on Homecoming 7-0. What happened? Well, I guess Steward Co. played better the game they won.

 

I was on the Camden team that lost to Stewart Co. that year. As far as I can remember those were the building days in Benton Co.. We went 5-5 that year coming off the 2nd consecutive 0-10 season, and lost to Harpeth in the first round of the playoffs. Since then Camden has been a program that worked hard and came up.

 

I see your point here, but mine still stands. It takes more than one year and a few big guns to become a contender or even a "suprise team". Keep working hard, and you'll get there. Camden's still working hard to become a State Champion. It doesn't happen overnight.

 

How you doin' rcombs?? Couple of things I've learned are that rcombs knows mid-state class AA football and Stewart Co. is due a playoff season. With taht said I'm going with rcombs. He's right on the 1999 Lions having problems but, this won't be the same bunch ya'll ran into then. One of their best is over here behind my house playing college ball now but, they got some guns left.

 

I wish Stewart Co. all the best. It is one of my favorite places on earth to hang out. But, ya'll have a way to go to be a contender in football. I'll be one of the first to cheer for you if you win a region, or state championship though.

Who got last place last season?

Houston County did. They lost by 6 or 3 something like that. I believe it was prolly the game i have seen the most flags in ever. The game took forever. SCHS almost blew it and took themselves out of the game.

How is the future looking for all the teams in Region 6-2A. I know SCHS and HCHS are gonna be improved and i know Camden should be good because I have seen their middle skool team and they have some big boys. But I was just wonderin how the future looks for Region 6-2A

Wavo's Jr High Team went Undefeated last year....so, thats promising...they have a very good Qb and RB, they are freshman, so might not see much playing time. And they have another kid that could just play anywhere, line, LB, S, B, RB, QB, K, P, u get the idea, he is a Fr. look for them to be amazing

after watching stewart county i must say they have a lot of talent just have to learn to use it if waverly plans on beating them the better be ready to lay the wood mcewen beat them by three touchdowns but they had a lot of mistakes they could get right by the first game they have a lot more depth than waverly and a pretty fast qb

i live in this small county i watched yall play creekwood and don't start about spelling and punctuation who cares about that stewart count is bigger faster and have about 20 more player. they just make a lot of mistakes but it was a scrimmage they could pull together
