They wont do any better in this Region. They may beat <a href='http://www.coacht.com/inside/team.cfm?SchoolID=590&SportID=1' target='_blank'>Houston Co.</a> and maybe maybe Adamsville

How can you say "maybe Adamsville"???? Adamsville is in serious rebulding mode under a new staff and Stewart returns most of their starters from last year. How did the Stewart-Adamsville game go in '05???? Stewart Co. won the contest :thumb:

Stewart Co. beats Gleason, Greenfield, Adamsville, and Houston Co. this upcoming season without question. The Rebels should be the favorites in all four of those games. If they can somehow sneak out an upset in one of their other six games (Loretto, Richland, Waverly, Riverside, Camden, or Lewis Co.) they'll be a .500 team at year's end.

Whether you folks want to admit it or not the fact of the matter is that Stewart Co. is a program that is rapidly improving and I give the coaches and players there in Dover all the credit in the world because not too long ago they were the laughing stock of the state of Tennessee in high school football.

Congrats to the Stewart County Rebels and their hard work :thumb: They have passed the laughing stock to a team in their old region ;)

I saw Stewart Co. play Camden last year. The only reson Stewart scored was a special teams let down on Camden. Camden had the starters out after the first quarter. The score could have easily been 63-0 AT HALFTIME. So Stewart Co. has improved from that mark enough to compete? I'd like to see this. And by the way----> You get to come to Camden this year.

As for Waverly, they are gonna be tougher than you all think. I bet Wavo pulls off a playoff spot this year. An upset or two and they are at home. Waverly beat you guys last year (with a horrible offense might I add) 25-0, and they have improved A LOT. You guys would have to have picked up a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.

And Loretto is going to be really tough also.

I'm not hating on you, I just don't believe you. Hard to pickup as many big guns in such a short time to compete in such a tough region.

Good luck on this year's upcoming season.

Stewart County is still the laughing stock and always will be. Even if they had a winning season it would not matter. I wouldn't hold my breath for Stewart County on getting a playoff spot or even winning more than 2 games.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
