All this muffin talk is pretty cute! I dont know what school you represent there big Jim but you dont know a whole lot about football or you dont read or somethin because in case you havent heard and judging by you posts you havent, CHS is no longer just a basketball school. But thats ok call us muffins or whatever you want to but if you play the BIG BLUE on Friday night you better have your chinstrap buckled tight because we are coming to play, so just keep writting us off or calling us cute little names or whatever because thats just extra motivation! :thumb:

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hey guys how are we doing? i enjoy all this sweet talk. we are all about one thing here and thats getting better. we are doing that. we want to go out give it all we got and see what happens. therefore cosby could care less about what you think of us. heck the are not on here say we are going to run the board and go to state. some of you people on here kill me. either you dont know what high school football is or you come from well established teams were hard times are very rare. meaning you dont know what it takes to come from nothing trying to build something. well keep up the smack i like it just help to keep those COSBY EAGLES SOARING for NEW HEIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Blue Man,

Slim Jim's school will never get to play the big blue muffins. You will never make it that far in the playoffs. Let me inform you that Slim Jim does know his football very well. Cosby always has been and always will be muffins in football and so will Oakdale. Thats why Slim Jim calls it the "muffin bowl".

I keep up with highschool football and I am sorry, but Cosby is a basketball school. Is this school named after Bill Cosby? Cosby is not a good football program. I have to agree with Big Jim on that one.

 

 

Muffin Bowl? That is hilarious. It does fit the situation though.

I play basketball for cosby and we went 34-2 last year and have had a successful basketball program for years,but the difference now is a lot of those good athletes that play basketball are coming out and playing football.so thats the difference the Cosby football program is finally getting some talent to work with,and look what they are doin with it.I dont look for Cosby to be muffins in football anymore.

Hey, we are a muffin team! That would be funny if this was a pee wee footbal thread full of 3rd and 4th graders. You guys are retarded. Where are you idiots from? Slim Jim, you must be some sort of football God to keep refering to yourself in 3rd person.

 

Slim Jimmy thinks that they play touch football in Cosby. It doesn't matter how many basketball players come out for football. Just because they are good basketball players want make them good football players. Muffins.

no its not only the basketball players coming out that will make cosby a good football program they have an excellent coaching staff young and full of energy.with a coaching staff like that its makes more people come out and play which some of them coming out could be great athletes.plus this new coaching staff has all the players hitting the weights.thats helps the line which is where a good football team is made.

      Bounder, you are correct. And it is so easy today. As a civilian today, I can check my 6th grade grandson’s grades in real time. 46 years ago as a young head coach, I knew who were my weak students and would do a weekly check. A decade and 1/2 later as an administrator, I would ask guidance for attendance, and grade reports as I did my own discipline reports. 5 years later I could run all those reports in a few minutes. today Text one the Secretaries and they can create a red flag report only printing the names with D’s and F’s or attendance and discipline issues. You are not even dealing with a whole team. The only problem with modern technology is someone who might not want to know.

      The buck stops with the head coach, he should have know if any of his players  were not making the required grades. Either he has someone checking weekly before games and reporting to him or he should do it himself.
