1400WJZM
Kenwood needs to find a consistant running game. The two alternating Quarterbacks give opposing defenses different looks and situations, but Wilkins is not a threat to run when he is in, so you can key off of that. The Knights D is the strenght, speed, not size, and pursuit like you would not believe. Again, you have to run the football to rest your defense, and that is where Kenwood is vulnerable. I am exicted to see Henry County. Have read about them, and talked to others who have seen them, and like one other poster mentioned much earlier, it is not just a matter of containing McNairl anymore, there is another young horse in the backfield to deal with. I do think the Patriots have the advantage on the O-line, but not until the second half. I think they can wear down the Knight front if that D has been on the field for too many plays. I'll be inthe box covering the game, looking forward to it!

Not sure if the local Paris station is putting it online yet.
1400WJZM
Not sure. The game locally will be available on 540 AM, not our game. I am actually covering it for the local paper. The station I worked for no longer has High School football, so if you know of anyone looking for a radio guy, I am available. Another interesting note I discovered doing my pre-game homework. How about this for the rotating schedule, in this series, no team has won back to back games against the other. I could only go back to 2001. The home team has almost always had an advantage. 2005 @ HC - Kenwood wins 17-14 2004 @ HC - Patiots win 41-8 2003 @ K - Kenwood wins 30-3 (their only win that season) 2002 @ HC - Patriots win 40-26 2001 @ K - Kenwood wins 21-20 Edited September 7, 2006 by 1400WJZM

Patriotpride
Well, I'm really nervous about this one. I have to think HC will win this one, Being 1-2, they are the underestimated team this time. I remember someone saying they were "unemotional" last year, that is exactly how to describe it. There was a wierd feeling at that game. Almost like the players didn't really want to be there, no disrespect intended. I think Kenwood will be surprized. They will face a much better team this year than the one they barely beat last year. HC-31 Kenwood-13 Good Luck Patriots, may God protect and bless each and every one of you from injuries and give you all (players/fans) travel mercies. VolunteerGeneral
I`m going on record to predict a Patriot victory. I think it will come down to how loud and often Drewcephus cheers for HC. If he stands up and yells it will only enhance their chances. Of course if he sits on his backside, drinks cokes, and makes several trips to the men`s room (old folks tend to do that) then a Henry County victory could be in question. I think Drewcephus is up to the challenge. He`ll have his game face on for this one. He knows HC can`t take a 1-3 start. He`ll take an extra Flintstone vitamin or two lead the Patriot charge. HC by 20 The General has spoken.

Look out, I have taken an extra dose of Geritol and am bringing an extra absorbant pair of depends so that I can be fully prepared and keep my game face on all night long, or is that Viagra i should be taking?!?!? I believe the Patriots and the Big Red Faithful will be up for the challenge tomorrow night. It has been a good week on the practice field and the Coaches are prepared for the two QB offense. Our offense will be well fueled and ready to roll. I am going to hold out on my prediction, keep it to myself actually. But we are ready and I am confident! Go Big Red!!!
