Spring Hill plays at Lawrence Co this week. :thumb:

 

 

 

Spring Hill will be GC's toughest opponent thus far. GC is really playing well now, however, the off week is not always a friend in high school football. Spring Hill has showed alot of determination thus far this season . . . . GC will have to work hard to stay focused or they will take a huge step backwards - after making an impressive start.

It seems odd to me that every team we have played has been the toughest opponent thus far... :lol: . Anyway Sam will most definately be back for this game, he was itching to go in against cheatham county last week but CoachO'Conner gave him the big NO. Spring Hill has a pretty good run game from what i hear, but GC has been shutting down the run all year long. Spring Hill has number 10 and number 3 returning, i don't know what their names are but they are good athletes. Let's hope the off week won't affect GC's focus too much. Keep the win streak alive. :thumb:

spring hill doesn't have a number 3. That number is retired. As for number 10, his name is jonathan walker. Just thought I'd let you know.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
