Knox Central vs. Lenoir City

I know that no one in Fountain City is sweating this game, but just wondering if anybody in LC thinks they have a chance.

Lenior City didn't look to bad in scrimmages. I think they have a chance IF they keep it close until the second half with their defense.

This game is at central. Lenoir City couldn't even handle Powell at home. No offence to Powell.

 

However, there is always a chance, no matter how far fetched.

 

You know, I think that Central has a chance to beat Maryville this year soo, yea, doubt LC will pull it off.

 

That said... Go Lenoir City! Haha.

I don't think this game will be that difficult for Central if they keep focus and work on trying to improve. It is a region game so it is very important to keep winning. I saw Lenior City on TV against Campbell Co and was not too impressed. That being said, they did keep Powell to 21 points, so they must play some pretty good D.

 

 

This Friday nite, I would be willing to bet that most of the boys will be at the visitation for Mandy Harrell. Very, very sad situation. My prayers to the family.

But Powell and Central and in to different places this year. Powell is struggling with a new QB. Lenior City has a Snow balls Chance in Heck. With that said Ill say....

It's early yet but from what I am seeing, this could be Central's year to be top dog. Lenoir City is in the same region but not in the same league as the Bobcats. Central 45 Lenoir City 7

Keeping Powell to 21 points this year is no big deal.

Congratz to Blair being named the player of the week in Knotzville last week and he even metioned Maryville on the radio.

 

Hope Central takes care of biz and continues to win and rest assured on 29 Sep this Blount County Monkey will be waiting at the Skeeter!

Since Maryville is the only team, except McCallie, to beat us in the regular season since 2001, they're going to stay on our minds. Hopefully this is the year that it changes, but I guess we've been saying that for a while now. Either way, this year should be another great game. See you on the 29th- and again in November I'd imagine.

Central has some darn good athletes and the program just keeps reloading. I think Central at home will walk away with this one. Just too many weapons on offense and they are always very disciplined in their gameplan.

 

Could this be the year to derail the Maryville train. I think if anyone has a chance it could be this years Central team. Good luck from a Red Devil fan.
