Hey guys I am a member of the POD at UNA and was just going to inform everyone what an outstanding music program and band UNA has. I would encourage every high school student that likes the DCI marching style and music to come and watch UNA and audition for a scholarship. UNA without a doubt has the best college band in Div II in the Southeast.

I have seen the Pride play several times and I have to agree they are very good!!! Goooooooooo Lions Go!!!!!!

You all should also check the Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners. They have my vote for best Div. II band in the southeast!!

oooooh!!!!!!!!! they are my favorite college band they are amazing!! i want to be a marching southerner soooo bad but the actual college part keeps me from being able to go there cause they dont ahve my major and its out of state... poo. i suppose ill just watch from afar

JSU is an ok band but the level of intensity, discipline, and showmanship they have compared to UNA is nil. UNA is without a doubt more precise and classy than JSU. And Mr. Lloyd Jones is to thank for that.

Well I went to JSU band day a couple of years ago when they played UNA, and to me JSU was very classy and friendly to us all day. They also blew UNA out of the stadium with a LOT of intensity and showmanship, sorry but it's the truth. JSU is more than "ok".

ill always be a JSU fan but maybe i should look for UNA in the future.

Well all im going to say is im not on here to talk trash about any other bands... JSU has a good program but as far as accuracy and precision and attention to detail UNA out does them... if you dont believe me go to youtube.com and compare them it will speak for itsself...
