I think the assistant who quit is Randy Banks, a former Halls player (on the '86 state championship team coached by Kerr). I heard another assistant quit too, but I don't know his name. What's the word on Tony Lambert coming back as head coach??

This game will decide the fate of several teams in this region. AC and Kingston both used to be at the top of this region, but in recent years slipped out of playoff contention.

 

Catholic and Fulton will get in. AE will get in off of athletic ability, but better have some better coaching come the next couple of weeks. Kingston will probably be the fourth, but this game will settle that.

Yes you are right it has always been a smath mouth football game but Kingston is to lazy to come out and be ready for AC!!

I don't think lazy teams only gives up 13 points in three games

I thought the player from that team was Randy Hall and not Banks.

We're both right. Randy Hall played on that team too. He was a lineman (probably the best ever at Halls, but as you probably know he had chronic and serious back problems) and Banks was a DB.

There are many folks in AC who would wholeheartedly agree with you, but I don't have a dog in that fight.... But I do know that Lambert is an excellent coach and motivator. And whatever Kerr's faults are, he has been successful in the past (some would say partly by recruiting, although I would doubt that's totally true), and Lambert coached with and learned from him for a number of years.

I knew that Anderson county was going to lose to Kingston. Anderson county is too down this year to compete with Kingston.
